Andarine

S-4 · GTx-007
cautionnicheoral capsule / liquid

What it is

Andarine (S-4) is one of the original SARMs — an early GTx Inc. compound. It's known for producing a "dry" lean look during cuts, but is famous for the yellow vision tint side effect. Less popular than newer SARMs, but cheap and effective for body recomposition.

How it works

Selective androgen receptor binding favoring muscle and bone. Slightly less anabolic than Ostarine but produces a notably "harder" look due to its effect on body water and androgen receptor activity in fat tissue.

Benefits

Timeline

Week 1–2
Strength gains; visible "tightening."
Week 4–6
Visible recomposition, especially leaner look.
Week 8
End of typical cycle; PCT required.

Dosing & titration

Standard dose25–50 mg orally daily, split in 2 doses
Cycle length6–8 weeks ON, 4–6 weeks OFF (with PCT)
TimingHalf-life is short (~4 hours) so split dosing is standard
When to titrate upAbove 50 mg/day, vision side effects increase dramatically. Most users stay at 25–50 mg.

Side effects & risks

Vision side effect is real. If yellow tint appears, lower dose or stop cycle. Almost always reverses post-cycle but document with eye exam if persistent.

Typical price
